MIST TEAM 2018 ANNOUNCEMENT

Assalamu Alaikum, everyone!

Here is the final MIST team. (Individual competition emails will go out tomorrow.) Due to the restrictive cap of 65 people on the team, many qualified people were unable to make the team. It was a very difficult decision, but shoutout to all the amazing talent and hard work we saw at the tryouts. If you did not make the team is NOT the end of the world and was most likely due to the team cap. If you are an underclassmen, we highly encourage you to tryout again next year and insha'Allah you can make it on! Guest registration is still TBA for MIST, but you will all receive an email with an update on that once MIST lets us know.

If you have made it on:

• You must register ASAP, the information is all nicely organized for you here. If you don't do this soon, I'm going to personally start pestering you so please get it done :) It shouldn't take long if you follow my instructions on that doc.

• MIST Ball & Open Competitions: Some competitions on the MIST Team 2018 doc have open spots. If you are interested in retrying out for any of them, you MUST email me by January 26, no later, to be considered. If you are interested in trying out for MIST Ball, please fill out this form by Tuesday, 1/23. (You can only do MIST Ball if you do at least one other competition at MIST, which all of you should be already.)

• You have been added to an email list and I will send you emails very often regarding MIST information. It is important that you read those emails, as MIST information is very timely and there are no exceptions for slackers. We expect you to stay responsible, and we will check up on your competition progress from here to there.
