• NOT FALLEN ANGELS but are created by smokeless flame of fire

• Every human has a partner jinn

• Where they can be found

• Can be found in unclean places- bathrooms, graveyards (don’t bring phone into bathroom)

• They also live in the same house where human beings live. But whenever Allah's name is mentioned or Allah is Glorified or the Qur'an is recited, especially Surah al-Baqarah, they flee away from that place.

• Eat, sleep and marry each other like us

• Created before mankind to worship Allah (SWT)

• Jinns and humans were given the choice to choose between good and evil.

• Iblis was first recorded evil jinn

• Powers

• They are able to take on any physical form they like.

• Appear as humans, animals trees and anything else. Thousands of people have sighted strange looking creatures all over the world - and it seems more plausible all the sightings of such creatures may have been Jinns parading in different forms.

• Average jinn is stronger than average man

• Jinns can duplicate any form except the prophet (saw)

• Ability to possess others and take over the mind of others has given them leverage in society.

• We know as Muslims, that Jinns possess people for many reasons. Sometimes it is because the Jinn or its family has been hurt accidentally. It could be because the Jinn has fallen in love with the person. However, most of the time possession occurs because the Jinn is simply malicious and wicked.

• How to know when someone is possessed

• Turning away and reacting strongly when hearing the adhaan or Qur’aan

• Fainting, seizures and falling when Qur'aan is read over him

• A lot of disturbing dreams

• Being alone, keeping away from people and behaving strangely

• The devil who is dwelling in him may speak when Qur'aan is read over him.
